WLJ Partner Receives Outstanding Lawyer Award; WLJ Paralegal Named Legal Support Professional of the Year by PCBA
LITTLE ROCK, Ark – (June 2, 2011) The Pulaski County Bar Association (PCBA) honored WLJ attorney, Charlie Coleman, with the Vince Foster, Jr., Outstanding Lawyer Award at the recent annual meeting held at the Governor’s Mansion.
The Vince Foster, Jr., Outstanding Lawyer Award is given to members in recognition of their contributions of time and talents to the Bar and the advancement of the legal profession. Seven attorneys currently or formerly with WLJ have received the honor since 1993.
Coleman has practiced law for over 30 years and has been a partner at WLJ since 1986. His practice is focused in the areas of bankruptcy, secured transactions, creditor's rights and remedies, and other areas of commercial litigation. Coleman has been named as one of The Best Lawyers in America from 1995 to 2010, in Chambers USA America's Leading Lawyers for Business in 2009 and 2010, and in Mid-South Super Lawyers for business litigation in 2006 and for bankruptcy and creditor/debtor rights from 2007 to 2010.
The PCBA also announced Tiara King as the recipient of the Legal Support Professional of the Year Award recipient. The award is given in recognition of outstanding contributions to the legal community. King joined WLJ as a paralegal in 2002.
