Kimberly Wood Tucker Named Arkansas Litigator of the Year
Kimberly Wood Tucker has been named “Arkansas Litigator of the Year,” while Wright, Lindsey & Jennings LLP was acknowledged in the category of “Case of the Year” by Benchmark Litigation during the inaugural Benchmark Annual Awards – South hosted in Atlanta on Thursday, March 8, 2012.
The award selection was based upon peer review and research conducted by Benchmark’s research team from November 2011 to January 2012.
Keynote speaker Ed Colbert, an intellectual property lawyer at Kenyon & Kenyon and in-house intellectual property expert on “The Colbert Report,” along with representatives from regional legal communities and regional corporations’ in-house counsel teams, were among the guests who joined in celebrating the achievements of southern litigators and their firms during 2011.
Tucker is a commercial litigation partner at Wright, Lindsey & Jennings LLP who has been engaged in the practice of law for twenty-six years. Her practice is focused on bankruptcy, defense of claims brought against creditors and debt collectors, and other areas of commercial litigation. Tucker’s bankruptcy practice includes representation of creditors in business and consumer cases, Chapter 7 Trustees and creditors’ committees, and debtors in Chapter 11 cases. She also defends creditors and debt collectors in actions brought under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA) and various other consumer protection laws.
