Vicki S. Vasser-Jenkins to Discuss Estate Planning 101 at Mercy Health Foundation Event

Wright Lindsey Jennings attorney Vicki S. Vasser-Jenkins will participate in the upcoming educational sessions, “What Legacy Do I Want to Leave?  Estate Planning 101,” hosted by the Mercy Health Foundation Planned Giving Advisory Committee on Thursday, October 29.  The events are scheduled from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at Mercy Clinic in Bella Vista and from Noon to 1:00 p.m. at Mercy Hospital Northwest Arkansas in Rogers.

The panel will include Planned Giving Advisory Committee members experienced in related areas of estate planning.  The free seminars will focus on the basics and the importance of estate planning. Panelists will discuss necessary documentation, tax laws, power of attorney, probate issues, and the benefits of planned giving.   

The Planned Giving Advisory Committee was created in 1998 by the Mercy Health Foundation to educate the community on the significance of planned giving, as well as to distinguish the experienced professionals within the estate planning industry.    

Vasser-Jenkins assists clients across the states of Arkansas and Missouri in the areas of family law, estate planning, business and non-profit formation, corporate governance, banking, and special education law.  Vasser-Jenkins currently serves as Chairperson of the Mercy Health Foundation of Northwest Arkansas and is a member of the Foundation’s Planned Giving Advisory Committee.  Vasser-Jenkins earned her B.S. degree from the University of Arkansas (magna cum laude) and her J.D. from the University of Arkansas School of Law (cum laude).  She also holds her Master’s in Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance. Vasser-Jenkins is an Inactive Certified Public Accountant (Oklahoma).
