WLJ Attorney Antwan Phillips Appointed to Little Rock Area Public Education Stakeholder Group

Wright Lindsey Jennings attorney Antwan Phillips is one of seven newly-appointed members of the Little Rock Area Public Education Stakeholder Group. Created at the behest of the Arkansas Board of Education, the members of the Stakeholder Group represent different kinds of public schools in the Little Rock area. They are tasked with helping select and guide the work of a “research facilitator,” who will work to improve collaboration among charter schools and traditional public schools. The Stakeholder Group will identify data questions, define key terms and set measurement parameters for the researcher or consultant. In addition, the Stakeholder Group will provide guidance on whether there should be a single school district in Little Rock.

The group is set to meet on June 29, July 11 and July 25, to start. The meetings are open to the public and will be live-streamed, recorded and posted on the state Education Department website, arkansased.gov.
